  Perfect get away for anyone. Been going here for years and never once been disappointed. Owners are the friendliest people you will meet and besides the daily morning and afternoon horsefeeding, you will be completely left to your own devices. There are dogs on the property, be mindful of that. 3 Bedrooms (each with available storage); 2 double beds and 1 with two singles. There is only 1 shower and 1 toilet, both in the same bathroom. Kitchen appliances, mattresses and the single TV could all do with an upgrade but are still perfectly fine to use. During cold nights, the fireplace is the perfect way to warm yourself. 'Cottage' is really the best word to describe this place but do not underestimate it, as returning to noisy neighbours and the noticeably dirtier air is the best way to cherish the sound of leaves in the wind and the smell of fresh air. You can go on bush walks but follow the route as you are at risk of venturing into private property of your hosts. A book inside the cottage has valuable information the should be skim read at the very least. The drive to town is noticeable in its time but your milk won't spoil and your food will stay warm as you look at a lot of greenery. When returning to the cottage from town, however, a noticeable ghost gum down the end of the road will remind you that your turn is coming up. Making a playlist might save your sanity as driving to most tourist destinations will be lengthy drive. The bakery near the middle of the town is the best at everything it makes and is highly recommended if you ever go anywhere near Denmark. There is no internet at Penrose Cottage so have the basics of a plan for what you want to do or know some spots you want to visit.
